REHUGO- Quotations, Universal Quotes, Aphorisms

A. "Other things may change us, but we start and end with family." - Anthony Brandt

Anthony Brandt is the editor of National Geographic Society Press's The

Adventure Classics serie, author of two books, and writer for many magazines.

"In every conceivable manner, the family is a link to our past, bridge to our

future." - Alex Haley

Alex Haley is an African-American writer, who was widely recognized for his work on his book

Roots: The Saga of an American Family and his book that he co-wrote, which was The

Autobiography of Malcolm X.

B. The first quote is about how family will always be there no matter. There are times that you

wish they wouldn't interfer with your social life, love life, or any type of "life", but it's something

you have to accept. There are other people who doesn't have anyone at all to call "family" and

that is when you have to realize that you are quite lucky. Family isn't something you should take

for granted because one day, they may not be there anymore. It also mentioned about change in

the beginning and this is what makes this whole quote relateable and true. Your family is the

only people who will greatly influence you above other things. They practically made you who

you are in a way because they are the ones who raised you and have that control of picking out

your likes and dislikes to a certain age. No matter how you change during your pre-teen and

teenage stages, they are still going to accept you for who you are.

The second quote talked about how family is the link to the past and bridge to the future. When

talking about the past, it could possibly mean how in the family it is common to inherit a physical

feature or personality and this could go back all the way to your roots. This could also mean

keeping your family traditions alive, which in other words, making your ancestors proud by

doing things that your family did for years. When talking about the future, this could mean how

the children of the family could grow up to be important people, which could create connections

to other important people and making the family name known. With a big name, it could help

and support you to do things you want to do. This could simply also mean expanding the family

and creating generations from generations. The family name cannot live for very long if there

isn't anybody to keep it going.

C. The first quote is expressed everywhere like for example, my home. My parents made me who I am in a way. In fact, I'm very much like the both of them like how we are very social when it comes to friends and meeting new people and really competitive especially in sports. They even support me in whatever I do, which is a lot because I like getting involved in school. My family will always be there for me because that is the true meaning of family. The second quote is something I assume is universal because it is really upto the family in how they want to represent and expand themselves. An example would be the Disney family because they are probably one of the famous families in the world and they are still famous for creating and maintaining what is known as "the happiest place on Earth" otherwise known as Disneyland and DisneyWorld. This legacy has been around for more than 50 years and it has branched out to an actual channel, stores, and fashion. Whether it is talking about always having your family be with you or living up to your family name, your family isn't something that could go away because it is something that will always be an important part of you.

Check the formatting of the first part of your response, very hard to follow with all of the line breaks.
